Five People Who Prove That You’re Never To Old To Do What You Want

If you want something you will find a way to get it, if not you will find an excuse. Don’t ever think age is an excuse. You are never too young or too old to achieve what you want. The only limits you have are the ones you create for yourself. The sky is the limit.

Below are five people who are proof that it is NEVER to late to do what you want.

Tao Porchon-Lynch

At 96-years-old Tao Porchon-Lynch  is the worlds oldest yoga instructor. She’s been doing yoga for over 70 years and teaching for 45. A woman of many talents, she used to work as an actress in the 1940s and 50s and then went on to make documentaries in the 60s and 70s.  And today, there’s no stopping her;Tao began to take up ball room dancing at the age of 87 and has continued to become an award winning dancer. Tao is proof that anything is possible and the human body and mind is capable of anything. Ruth Flowers (DJ Mammy Rock)

Ruth Flowers aka DJ Mammy Rock started a career as a DJ at the age of 65 after her husbands passing. She came from a family of musicians and decided to make the career change after attending her grandson’s birthday and seeing the energy people had while listening to the music. She was soon introduced to  French producer Aurélien Simon, who helped her learn to DJ and launched her career. She became very successful and recognized as a DJ. Her first appearance was in front of celebrities like Lenny Kravitz and Mariah Carey, during the 2009 Cannes Film Festival, at the Villa Murano.  Flowers passed away at the age of 83 but her music and inspiration lives on.

 Vera Wang

Famous fashion designer Vera Wang didn’t start her career until she was 40. Prior to making gorgeous dresses she was a famous figure skater but ended her career after failing to make it to the olympics. She then went on to be a journalist at Vogue magazine but got passed up for the position of editor-in-chief. With her love of fashion she then decided to become a fashion designer at 40. Proof that even if you fail, it’s never too late to start something new and succeed.

 Stan Lee

Stan Lee, the man behind Marvel Comics, made his first comic “The Fantastic Four” when he was 38 years old. He went on to create Marvel and is the man behind many super hero movies and icons like Spiderman and The Incredible Hulk.

Ray Croc

“How do you create a restaurant empire and become an overnight success at the age of 52? As Ray Kroc said, “I was an overnight success all right, but 30 years is a long, long night.”

At 52, the age most people are starting to think about retirement, Ray Croc started the McDonalds Franchise. Ray had various jobs before and had been an entrepreneur but did not find great success until later in life.

All the people above prove that it’s never to late to start new. You can always find success and enjoy life at any age!
