What’s The Difference Between Intuition and Manifesting? | Interview with CEO Of Mindvalley Vishen Lakhiani

The purpose of this image is to invoke the feeling of powerful intuition and manifesting

What’s The Difference Between Intuition and Manifesting? The two are similar and often explained interchangeably. So what are they, and how do you harness their power correctly? Earlier this year, I had the chance to sit down with the co-founder and CEO of Mindvalley Vishen Lakhiani at his seminar Mindvalley Live to find the answer.

“The difference between intuition and manifesting, think of it as a compass and a rocket, “Vishen explains,” A compass (your Intuition) helps you find the right direction. A rocket (manifesting) helps you move in that direction.” Sounds simple enough, right? So why are we not all living our dream life yet? Vishen reveals that most people struggle because they forget to unite the two.

“They might tap into their Intuition, or their compass, to listen and understand where they need to be, but then they fail to get there. Or, they decide where they’re going to go, and they move towards it, but they fail to listen to the compass, and so they’re moving in the wrong direction. The author of The Code of the Extraordinary Mind explains.

So how do we know if we are moving in the wrong direction?

Vishen reveals that we are all born with Intuition & a strong ability to manifest. “We know that there’s a part of ourselves that transcends time and space. We can’t fully explain how it works, but we know that we can use it. “

As children, we have pure intent, but somewhere along the line, the lines get blurred, “The world has told who you need to be, you need to do, and how you need to act. These people, instead of following their true intention, begin to follow blind intention. You become nothing more than the product of a human photocopy machine, photocopying the lifestyles, the ideas, the averageness, the mediocrity of the world around you. Then they end up with a mid-life crisis when they are 40, waking up one day going, “What did I do with my life?” That’s Blind intention, and that isn’t coming deeply from your soul,” Vishen revealed.

So how do we successfully merge Intuition & Manifesting together?

Vishen’s goal at Mindvalley and for you is to unify both of these ideas, Intuition and manifesting. This way, you’re setting the compass direction first, and then you’re rocketing in the right direction.

“People who truly lead an extraordinary life, they’re not the product of a photocopy machine; rather, what they’re doing is listening to that still inner voice. And we don’t know where that voice comes from. Maybe it’s the soul, maybe it’s higher intelligence. But we know that there is a voice. They are listening to that voice to create their own original definition of who they are to be. That voice represents the compass.” He adds, “And only when they find that direction do they start to move towards their goal. They’re constantly making decisions in alignment with their soul.”

So again, “Intuition is the compass, and manifesting is the rocket fuel. You have to combine both of them to truly live a life aligned with your purpose and your soul.”
